Haven of Hope International is thrilled to announce the success of its second annual “Klimbing for Kids” fundraising campaign event in partnership with The Laser Lounge Spa. An astounding $23,000 in support of our transformative Future of Hope program was raised during The Laser Lounge Spa’s promotion in May.
Founder Alice Sweet explains: The “Klimbing for Kids” initiative has not only captivated the hearts of countless individuals in the Fort Myers area but has also served as a beacon of hope for orphaned children that are cared for in our partner orphan care homes. Through the unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts of The Laser Lounge Spa we have once again demonstrated the power of unity and philanthropy in making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.”
Jonathan and April Sigg, The Laser Lounge Spa owners, agreed: “We are proud to extend our support to Haven of Hope International’s Future of Hope program for the second consecutive year. We want to show the value and importance of giving back and strive and commit to doing even more in the years to come!”

Their continued support and dedication have resulted in a total fundraising achievement of $45,000 to date, demonstrating the profound impact that a collaborative partnership can have on transforming lives and building a better world.”
As a result of The Laser Lounge Spa’s 2023 fundraising, scholarships were awarded to 41 of Haven of Hope International’s young adults from orphan care partner homes in Bolivia and Kenya. These scholarships have proven to be life-changing opportunities, opening doors to education, and empowering these deserving young students to pursue a brighter future.
Average educational and vocational costs for Future of Hope students are as follows: $650 annually to ensure a child attends high school, and average of $1,200 annually for university education, and vocational training costs ranging from $200 to $1,000.
By focusing on education, vocational training, and holistic support, the Future of Hope program empowers these young individuals to break free from the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
