CLEWISTON, FL. — Eleven people faced their fears Saturday, January 18, 2019 in Clewiston.
The “Jump for Hope” fundraiser raises money for the Global Hope Expansion Campaign.
Supporting for the campaign helps Haven of Hope International – a nonprofit working to rescue and support orphans around the world.
The founder of the organization, Alivia Skaff, says jumping for hope sends an encouraging message that anyone can use.
“It may look scary, but you can face your fears and you can do amazing things. We did it. We were free falling.”
The goal is to raise $14,000 dollars. At the time of Saturday’s jump, they had collected a little over $4,300.
