Climbing Mountains for Orphaned Youth: Beth Webley’s Heart for Transition Students in Bolivia

At Haven of Hope International, we’re blessed to have supporters who don’t just talk about change—they climb mountains for it. One of those champions is Beth Webley, a dedicated member of our Advisory Board whose heart beats for young people aging out of care in Bolivia.

For the past three years, Beth has been walking alongside Haven of Hope with a passion for equipping orphaned youth to thrive beyond the walls of a children’s home. She has been instrumental in establishing our new off-campus transition home in Bolivia, a safe place where young adults can build independence while continuing their education and preparing for the future.

But Beth doesn’t stop there. Currently, she is facilitating her second GPS Journey in Bolivia, guiding youth through an intentional program designed to help them identify their gifts, passions, and strengths—giving them the tools to chart a path for their future.

And now, Beth is taking her commitment to new heights—literally. Through her Klimbing for Kids Campaign, she is climbing the iconic Machu Picchu to raise funds for our Futures of Hope Scholarships, ensuring more young adults have access to vocational training, university education, and life skills.

Beth’s story is a reminder that with heart, courage, and faith, one person can spark lasting change. She is not only climbing mountains in Peru—she’s helping young people overcome the mountains in their own lives.

Join Beth in her climb! Every step she takes represents a future full of hope for orphaned and vulnerable youth. Together, we can ensure they don’t just survive aging out of care, but step into adulthood with confidence, purpose, and support.
