Klimbing for Kids 2024
September 21- October 6
Mount Kilimanjaro is waiting for those seeking an expedition of a lifetime that will create lasting changes.
Join the “Klimbing for Kids” Charity Climb. You’ll be more than just a climber; you’ll be their hero.
Raise awareness about the orphan crisis. Make a difference in the lives of orphaned teenagers! By taking part in this meaningful challenge, you will be helping to provide essential life and career skills that will set these young adults on a path to overcome the monumental hurdles in their way.
The orphan crisis is real. It is 153 million children strong. By population, it would be the 9th largest country in the world. It is estimated that 99% of these children will never be adopted. Yet, each one has a dream for a better future and a destiny to fulfill. Sadly, for orphans, the odds are stacked against them.
Every 3 seconds a child ages out of care. Without skills, many orphans are faced with a bleak future:
• 60% of the boys -> a life of crime
• 70% of girls -> prostitution
• 10-15% -> attempt suicide
SO, CHALLENGE YOURSELF
Embark on an unforgettable adventure while changing the lives of young teens in need.
Our innovative programs offer the best chance for these teenagers to thrive and bring positive change to their communities:
- On-Site Vocational Training
- Transition Support
- Higher Education Scholarships
Your climb is a symbol of the power of determination. With every step, you’ll show them that their dreams are worth pursuing and that a better life is within reach. You’ll inspire them to believe in themselves and never give up, no matter the obstacles they face. Sign up for the climb today!
