Haven of Hope International’s Future of Hope Program
The Future of Hope program prepares older children in partner orphan care homes for independent adulthood by equipping them with life skills, vocational training, and academic opportunities. Through scholarships, higher education support, and career development resources, the program fosters long-term self-sufficiency, empowering these young adults to break the cycle of poverty and become thriving, responsible members of their communities.
This comprehensive program also offers education tutors, life skills coaching, discipleship, and spiritual support. Personalized life plans using the GPS Journey guide each participant’s development, while local mentorship opportunities provide valuable guidance. Recognizing that young adults from trauma may mature at a slower pace, the program includes off-campus housing or host family arrangements at some homes, offering supervised living as they build confidence and adapt to independent life.
Areas of Support:
1. Vocational Training: Young adults receive training in career fields aligned with their interests and talents, preparing them for meaningful employment.
2. High School Education: In some countries, high school education is not provided by the government. Without scholarships, the students we support would not have the opportunity to attend high school.
3. Higher Education: Scholarships open doors to higher education, enabling young adults to pursue careers in fields such as nursing, technology, architecture, business, carpentry, and more.
Empowering Dreams:
Haven of Hope International has awarded scholarships to 47 young adults across partner orphan care homes in Bolivia, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Supporting the Future of Hope Program provides these young people with a life-changing opportunity to achieve their dreams and reach their full potential. For those who have not had the chance to be adopted, this program provides them the tools and support needed to embrace a future filled with hope, opportunity, and the destiny God has planned for them.
