We received word from Miriam, the director of the John E. Halgrim Orphanage (JEHO) in Nairobi, Kenya, that eight children who desperately needed dental work have all received it! We thank God for the blessings He bestowed upon these wonderful children. We would also like to extend the deepest of gratitude to our JEHO home sponsors and all the other donors who helped meet this need!
The eight children who needed dental exams and cleanings are Ben, Emmanuel, Ryan (pictured below), Ian, Grace (pictured right), Rose, Blessing, and Stella. In addition to exams and cleanings, five of the children also needed x-rays and tooth extractions. The total cost for all the dental work was 19,600 Kenyan shillings (KES), which translates to $196. Yet again, this is proof of just how far the American dollar and support goes towards helping the JEHO children we serve.
