The costs for each child’s essential vision needs amounted to approximately 6,350 Kenyan Shillings (KES), equivalent to $278 in US dollars. It is remarkable how far the American dollar goes in Kenya – we often don’t realize how much of a difference a small sum can make. Your contributions have proven to be remarkably efficient, showcasing the profound impact even a modest sum can have on transforming the lives of these children.
The efforts of Pastor Miriam in locating a local optometrist in Nairobi played a pivotal role in ensuring these children not only received thorough vision exams but also obtained their necessary glasses and medicine. It’s heartening to report that, with their newfound clarity of vision, these five children can now perceive the beauty of God’s world more vividly. The speed and willingness with which our supporters rallied to meet this crucial need have not gone unnoticed, and we express our immense gratitude for your ongoing dedication.
